We specialize in interior commercial projects from very high end to standard office renovations; including high end information technology, showrooms, retail stores, hotels, restaurants and major electrical, mechanical and structural projects.

Established in 1964, Micron Construction has successfully developed into a full service General Contractor/Construction Management company specializing in the construction of Corporate Interiors, Retail, Educational, Institutional facilities in the Tri-state areas. Micron has developed a myriad of corporate clients through our reputation of exceeding client’s expectations. All of our clients are personally serviced from conception to completion of each and every project. With Micron construction you’re not just getting a experienced builder, but you’re also getting a highly trained management team with your goals in mind. We build our clients projects in accordance to their needs and budget. We are dedicated to creating and preserving long term relationships where good will has earned us long time confidence with such clients as CBS Inc., New York University, American International Group, Citibank, JP Morgan Chase, The bBank of New York, Tishman Speyer Properties, Saatchi & Saatchi. We approach each and every project with open communication between Architect Engineers, and as always our client.

During our 53 Years of business, we have constructed millions of commercial square feet of office space. The company has built new buildings, installed generators, UPS systems and completed numerous stair pressurization projects among many other complicated projects. At Micron, we offer a wealth of collective experience to insure the highest possible level of service.

Construction Services

When called upon to bid a construction project from plans and specifications or from a Construction program is already planned and near design completion, Micron’s general contracting services provide an advantage. Our extensive experience and knowledge of sub contractors, local codes, and our in-house pool of craft personnel assure responsive services, efficient, on-time construction, and low cost.

We understand how critical schedules and budgets are; therefore, we work closely with the architects, engineers, clients, suppliers and vendors to achieve design intent at the most reasonable cost, and as early as possible with our in house estimating department, we offer value engineering to insure projects are built within budgetary constraints, which saves time and money with an emphasis on quality and reliability. To provide the most timely and cost effective services. Micron has found it invaluable to maintain its own crews to perform certain construction trades. Our accounting and cost controls are 100% computerized with a strong emphasis on AIA procedures. At any point during a project, we can provide our clients with a current up to date cost within moments. This helps us monitor cost, payments to subcontractors, change orders, and general conditions.

After Construction Services

Following project completion, we often continue to fulfill clients’ needs by providing ongoing services such as small enhancements, alternations’ and repairs. Because we maintain our staff crews who are continuously employed by us, We can provide these services for our clients on an ongoing or emergency basis.
